    • Volunteer Orientations are held quarterly at GHS

The next orientation is in September of 2009

You must attend BOTH Saturdays, from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., in order to work with our dogs. The first Saturday involves a general orientation with information about volunteering and the shelter, the second Saturday is a “hands-on” training session with our trainers. If you are a “cat only” person, you attend just the first Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

You must sign up for the class in order to attend, so please leave your name and telephone number on our answering machine beginning in August, 2009. We will NOT be taking any sign-ups until August 1, 2009. There is limited space.

If you love animals and want to make a difference, please come volunteer. More Information »
