Hi, meet Bear. Bear is a Chow mix. Unfortunately, his mom and dad are getting a divorce and neither one can keep him. Bear is a very mellow fellow. He is a year old and weighs about 40 pounds. He gets along with other dogs, cats, and he is great with children. He is very loving and he is housetrained. Bear is vaccinated, neutered, de-wormed, fecal test done, and micro-chipped. GILES - Male, Chihuahua Mix

Hi! I’m Giles, a spunky little guy who hooked up with a super nice family back in July while I was roaming leashless and collarless through the neighborhood. This family took me in and tried to find my people, but for some reason, no one ever called for me. Anyway, I’ve since been neutered and vaccinated and I’ve been hanging with my foster family for a while, but I’m super athletic, and I guess they kind of have their hands full, what with the three dogs they already have, plus their assortment of cats. I’m SO playful with other dogs of any size and even though I engage in mild kitty chasing, it’s really cause I just want to play with them! LARAMIE - Male, Terrier

Hi, this is Laramie. He is a 4 month terrier and he weighs about 5 pounds. Laramie was found in front of a grocery store begging for food one late afternoon. He would approach people, look up at them, and then go back to his little corner with whatever had been given to him. He had been doing this all day. Finally someone picked him up, fixed him up, and now he’s ready for a new home. Laramie is good with people, children, dogs, and cats. BEAUREGARD - Male, Siamese

BEAUREGARD (Beau) is a 2.5 year old male Siamese seal point/Burmese mix with bright blue eyes whom I rescued as an abandoned tiny kitten. Some nut left him behind a dumpster- he was so little and hungry, I couldn’t resist! He’s neutered, has all shots and loves to be outside- he’s a hunter. He’s very active, talkative, snuggly (he sleeps at the foot of my bed) and healthy but he does have asymptomatic diabetes which is controlled with prescription food- Purina DM. You’d never know he has this diagnosis if you saw him- he’s very robust (13.5 lbs) with a beautiful coat when he’s not rolling in the dirt). As long as he gets his special food, he’ll be perfectly fine. I am moving and can’t take my baby boy with me- I’m devastated and concerned about placing him with a new loving family who will be responsible about his food and well being. Ideally, there shouldn’t be other cats in the home unless they can eat the same food as Beau. He will steal their food and eventually get sick! If you can commit to buying his food from your vet (about $50 per month for wet, dry is more) and giving him lots of attention, please drop me an email or call Royce at (323)653-6286. He will come with some extra food, his plush Sherpa carrier and a dose of Promeris flea medicine. All you need to do is prove that you bought a case of his food from your vet and he’s yours.

KOBY - Male, Wheaten Terrier Mix

Koby is a 40 pound, 8 year old, soft-haired Wheaten mix. He enjoys walking on leash but does not need a ton of exercise. He is happiest right at the feet of his master and loves to cuddle. He plays well with other dogs. He lets you know when someone is at the door. His current owners just had infant and realized he is not a dog for young children. On occasion, he will nip at an unattended stranger in his home. He has been a great companion and is ready to be the most dedicated addition to his future forever home. OREO - Female, Terrier Mix

Oreo is a spayed 7 year old, 22lbs Terrier mix. She’s an absolutely adorable dog and appreciating the fact that she got pulled out of the shelter. She is blossoming in her foster home, patiently awaiting the right match for a permanent home. Oreo enjoys her walks in the neighborhood and her naps. She loves to play with me and my dog and is joyful and can be very goofy. Oreo is a great companion dog; mellow, adorable, sweet, inquisitive, eager to please, bashful and loves belly rubs. She knows how to sit when you ask her with a treat. She’s working on becoming housebroken and we are making progress. She is very good on the leash and easy to handle. Oreo is fun to be around. If you want to sit on the couch and watch TV, she’ll be right next to you. If you want her to be energetic and playful, she will- just let her know.
