JIMINY AKA MAX

JIMINY AKA MAX

Hello,

We wanted to send you a film clip of Max and his best friend. He has gotten a bit bigger and happier. Max is now 60lb of happy dog. He loves his walks around park and he loves his friends even more. He has made some friends while walking around the park because of his friendly nature. He still thinks he is a few month old puppy so he want’s to play with everyone he meats big or small. He has gotten over most of his fears but still gets spooked some times. (who don’t)

Wishing you all a Happy Holiday Season and beautiful New Year!

Max and his pets (Evija and Patricia)

WEDNESDAY

WEDNESDAY

Hi Glendale Humane!

We just wanted to give you an update on Wednesday, who we adopted from your shelter a little over three months ago. First of all, we wanted to say thank you to all for being so wonderful during the adoption process. The training classes we went through at GHS made us feel so much more comfortable with the responsibility of owning a dog. Thank you also for taking such good care of Wednesday before we were lucky enough to find her. She has such a sweet and loving personality and we know that the folks at GHS only served to reinforce that. Secondly, we can’t say enough about what a great dog Wednesday is. She has been such a wonderful addition to our lives, we can’t even remember what life was like without her. She seems to love her new life, especially going for daily runs around the neighborhood and weekend hikes in Griffith Park. She also loves to play “keep away” with her toys and enjoys running around with other dogs (especially Chihuahuas) at the Silver Lake dog park. We are attaching a picture of her at the beach, one of her favorite places. Once again, thanks for bringing Wednesday to us. She’s our pride and joy!

DUNCAN

DUNCAN

Hello!

I just wanted to check in and give a little update on our beloved Bassett Hound, Duncan, adopted from your shelter in April 2007.

From the very start, Duncan fit right in with our household!! It was almost like the three of us (myself, Duncan and my husband Patrick) were separated at birth because of our almost identical personalities! We love how his energy matches ours in almost every situation. He loves going on runs in the mornings with me before work and we take him on hikes through Griffith Park every weekend. He is also always ready to plop when we are! :) He has a little arsenal of toys and his favorite is his “booda”, a yellow, plushy bone. He has learned the command “get your booda!” and will bring it to us when we ask. He knows “go to bed” when it is bedtime and will “sit” for a treat. We play “find it!” every night and he LOVES turkey slices!!!! He also really loves other dogs as well, especially the big ones. It is funny because we expected him to not like big dogs, due to his background.

I absolutely cannot imagine my life without Duncan and cannot thank you enough for choosing us as his parents. Everywhere we go, he attracts attention and people absolutely LOVE him. Seriously– once he rolls over, people freak out!!! They love him. :)

Thank you again, and happy holidays!

Love,

Melissa, Patrick and Duncan Stephan Los Feliz, CA
